Mustang EP38 Ocean Racing Inflatable Vest - MD6254

Built with a revolutionary low-profile chassis, the Mustang EP 38 inflatable ocean racing vest is engineered for the elite ocean racer. Membrane Inflatable Technology^TM inside reduces weight and increases flexibility, and the Hydrostatic Inflator Technology (HIT^TM) will only inflate when submerged and not in rain, spray, or high humidity.

The low-profile chassis is designed for a maximum range of motion during high-output grinding and sail changes. This PFD integrates seamlessly with the EP 6.5 Ocean Racing outerwear collection for a head-to-toe sailing solution providing performance edge in the harshest of conditions.

The World Sailing ISAF Offshore Special Regulations (OSRs) require a PFD that complies with ISO 12402-3, or an equivalent standard, and the EP 38 Inflatable is built to the UL1180 Standard as a Type II inflatable PFD, and which World Sailing has deemed as equivalent standard. For further equivalency, the Mustang EP 38 is fitted with accessories that are required by the ISO12402-3 Standard, but not by the UL1180 Standard. These additional features include:

• Spray hood that meets ISO12402-8 requirements
• Safety harness that meets ISO12401 requirements
• Marine grade whistle
• More than 300 cm2 of marine-grade retro-reflective tape
• Fitted with crotch straps
• Storage room for PLB or light, etc
